Ninja VS Demon

My UE5 Experiment
It's been a while.
I feel like to learn something new. I have a lot of characters in my chest and I want to be able to place and push them to a new level.
So I started learning Unreal Engine for making games recently this year and created the battle gameplay in UE5.3 from scratch for learning.
For these two characters I created a long time ago, I used UE5 skeletons so they could easily be retargeted. Rigged and painted skin weight in Maya and retargeted with animations in Epic Paragon Project. All animations, Effects were from Epic Paragon and adjusted, combined to create the animation montages I needed(I did some effects myself(Trails for slashs). Learn to use AI behavior trees and it's a lot of fun! End up creating about 10 skills for this AI while the player's skills are about 5-6.
Blink, Block, Parry, Melee combo, projectile shooting and the ultimate also Health and Mana system were create from scratch and reusable.
This small simple battle gameplay system took me about 4 months of my freetimes after work.
